Inspired by this mishmash experience, EggPlant aims to collaborate with artists and creative individuals to explore the possibility of a niche between art and merchandise.

With a focus on mathematics and art, Icosa Magazine is a biannual publication based in Guangzhou. Funky Zine Forest is a temp zine group made up of 4res and Handowin. "Funky" is from Handowin's Funky Soul Club. "Forest" is from 4res' name. Both of them love making zines in a different way though. 4res is a graphic designer from Hong Kong. He is also a movie-goer and one of the founders of Zinecoop, a Hong Kong zine community. Handowin HE is an award-winning author-illustrator based in NYC/Shanghai. In 2019, 4res and Handowin co-worked to create a zine series One Tale of Two Cities: Shanghai vs. Hong Kong, a comparison between two cities under a same topic. The first issue is independent bookstore. This year, they amend and re-design this issue. It will be published very soon. Since this year, they group up to establish a temp team “Funky Zine Forest”. Through Handowin’s visualized stories, an incomparable world outlook could be recognized. 4res’ unique viewpoint and critical thinking differentiate him from others. Their cooperation will definitely spur sparks.

LOST,  is a magazine about self-discovery through travel. It is a magazine that features real stories, personal reflections and epiphanies from people around the world. Min Zhang is a Chinese-born visual storyteller and illustrator. She graduated with an MA in visual communication/illustration from the Royal College of Art in 2019. Her practices aim at telling hidden stories to push against the boundaries of our reality and blur the boundaries of figuration and abstraction through the use of a wide range of media including sculpture, ceramic, installation, painting, mural, and publication.

pidan is a brand focusing on creating products for cats. Adhering to the brand proposition of “Cat First Public Welfare Plan”, pidan hopes not only to facilitate a better life of cats in human families, but also to do more for travelling cats in society.Indistinguishable Moments is pidan’s first brand publication. pidan invited 32 creators, including artists, photographers, writers etc., cut out clips from individuals’ repetitions, and recorded moments related to small animals. These private images stored in the creators’ lives are recorded in different forms of media, such as words and images, and eventually constitute a world of deep feelings related to small animals.

Apple Department Store is an art platform founded by artist Zhang Xiao in February 2022. The platform is dedicated to presenting social reality based on the present in a variety of artistic creation forms.

Yiran, an illustrator, sometimes called herself barista, self publisher, ceramist, or people watcher. She likes to observe people on the street, recording them into sketches and printing them out as self-publishing zine. She also made frame-by-frame animation and handmade ceramics, combining discarded objects such as wood fragments or cans for re-creation, then takes photos and prints them out as Riso prints. She makes other fun little stuff too, such as hand-printed coasters or tattoo stickers for fun.
